Problems with your nose can cause problems with snoring. Congestion of the lining of the nose can make it difficult to breathe through your nose causing mouth breathing during sleep.

This increased mouth breathing can alter the flow of air through the throat creating more negative pressure behind the soft palate increasing snoring.

Addressing the causes for the sinus problems related to the nasal congestion can not only help your nasal symptoms but also the flow of air through your nose.
